They, on average, send 5- 6 guys a day home! yes 200 miles per day just for that job, 100 miles if he doesn't get a route (there and back) In our case (1 car which is damn reliable) this wears down on me because I have to drive him to work, drive back, work doordash, then go pick him up. They do not count this against you BUT if you live far (in our case 50 miles one way).why can't they just tell you this over the phone? This isn't after such and such period this is from like day 1 of you being out on your own.Įven if they don't have a route, you still have to show up for work even though you'll just be sent home.

Especially if they are spaced out pretty dang far away. No matter how little money you make you will get health insurance taken out.Įven though you are allowed through their delivery driver machine (thing called a rabbit) to be delivering until 8:15pm (work starts at 9am), no they want you to be done quicker. You are ONLY Paid for routes you take IF they have a route for you. Yes Amazon delivery drivers, that cherished high paying 18.25 per hour with benefits job! A delivery drivers dream right? My husband who also works doordash BUT ALSO works for Amazon. So we all have had those entitled customers, asshole idiots, crazy drivers, and what not.but get this
